In order to obtain a Hazmat Endorsement the following conditions MUST be met to meet the qualifications:
- MUST be 21 or older
- MUST have a FULL CDL, not a permit.
- MUST be able to pass a TSA background check & birth certificate verification.
- MUST be willing and able to get fingerprinted.
- MUST taken a 25-50 question written test at DDS (Driver Services)
- MUST complete this Entry Level Driver Training (ELDT) Hazmat Theory training course and pass with 80% or better.
- This ELDT Hazmat Theory course MUST be taken BEFORE you can go to DDS for your Hazmat Skills assessment endorsement test.
